Art Angels

I am part of an “epic” event happening on September 19, 2012 at the 12345 Dixie Studio and Gallery. Myra Wexler (pronounced VEXLER) is everybody’s favorite Wynnwood “socialite homie”. She also is the subject of many an artist’s interpretations and caricature and I am proud to be the feature part of “the SHOW“. This photo is one from my ART ANGELS reportage that features Myra with the  2 Square artists, Jeremiah and Justin. Come see them all and also the work of more than fifty artists all having focused on one spectacular personality!

“I first met Myra when she came to see my installation in the 4141 Design Building on NE 2nd Ave in the Design District. We instantly hit it off and it was there I took the first photo of her. She came off that cool evening as a bit of a fashionista because she was wearing a Denim and Company corduroy coat with a pin at her throat accented by her wildly coiffed white mop at the top of her head. She looked to me what Andy Warhol’s sister might resemble and she fit right into my installation. Myra lends herself to visual interpretation and is a natural poser that the camera loves. She is a walking piece of art!”
